Geoffrey is the last descendant of a mage shrouded in legend. He has been tasked by a jinn that is both his mentor and companion to explore the world of the human born races to find the fragments of his ancestor’s staff.
From the crypts of the Greek Empire to a modern-day Camelot defended by vampire hunters, he races against time to reassemble this ancient artifact. Without it, the world will fall prey to the return of a malevolent spirit.
Fables, folklore, and mythology become reality as those who wield the power of magic alter the course of history.

Music often inspires scenes, helps mold the tone of a narrative, and in some cases, defines a character.
What follows is a collection of songs that are the soundtrack to this novel.

This song inspired a "deleted" scenario that does not occur in the novel but would be ideal visually for a movie or television series based off the book. This will add to the experience for the visual representation of the book. Learn more about this new addition below under the "Bonus Scene" section of this page.

Bonus Scene: Not Found In Book
In a movie/television presentation of Arcane Inheritance, a unique opening features Jinx, a being of pure magic that can take physical form. She says something about needing music and clicks her fingers. The song "A Kind of Magic" as mentioned earlier on this page, begins playing. She begins taking a walk, shifting into different forms. Men, toddlers, women, children, people of all ages, races, and appearances. It's a fun way to introduce the character and her abilities. People who worked on the movie, such as the director, those behind the scenes, even the author of the original book the show/movie is based off of may make a cameo in this series of different forms that the jinn takes.

Hidden Author
Where would the Author make a cameo?
Stan Lee is notorious for making a cameo in movies and television series based off his written works. With that in mind, where would the author of this novel make an appearance in a visual adaptation of the book?
The opening sequence is Jinx traveling from one location across the globe to the next, shapeshifting into different individuals. Male, female, and those who are gender neutral are all included. A wide spectrum of age is also present from a toddler barely walking to the eldest person in the world if they're available and interested to make an appearance. Who will be among these seemingly random individuals that Jinx is mimicking the form of? You guessed it. The author.
